Our Story

Off-Spec Innovations was founded on a simple idea: technology should solve real problems, not create new ones. We started by building tools for ourselves — automating tedious research, designing parts that manufacturers stopped making, and creating software that actually fits how people work.

The name comes from manufacturing. "Off-spec" means something doesn't meet the standard specification — which usually means it's broken or rejected. But sometimes, going off-spec means building something better than what the standard calls for. That's us.

We don't do buzzwords. We don't sell solutions looking for problems. We find the actual pain points — the stuff that wastes your time, costs you money, or makes your job harder than it needs to be — and we build practical fixes.

What We Value

🔧

Practicality First

If it doesn't make your life easier, we don't build it.

Honest Assessment

We'll tell you if AI isn't the right tool for your problem.

Move Fast

Prototype in days, not months. Iterate based on real feedback.

🤝

Long-term Partnership

We want clients for years, not invoices for hours.

We're a small team with hands-on experience across technology, manufacturing, and operations.
