OSI OpenClaw Backup Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Off-Spec Innovations handles information accessed by its private OSI OpenClaw Backup utility.

Information accessed

The utility requests Google Drive’s drive.file permission. This restricts access to files and folders created or explicitly opened through the application. It does not request broad access to unrelated Google Drive content.

Purpose of access

Google Drive access is used solely to upload encrypted backups, verify their integrity, list application-created backup data, and restore that data when needed.

Storage and security

Backup content is encrypted before it is stored in Google Drive. OAuth credentials are kept on a privately administered server with restricted filesystem access. Reasonable technical controls are used to limit access to authorized administration.

Sharing and sale

Information accessed through Google APIs is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except when required by law or necessary to provide the Google Drive storage service requested by the operator.

Retention and deletion

Application-created backup data is retained according to Off-Spec Innovations’ backup policy. The operator may delete that data from Google Drive or revoke the application’s access through the Google Account permissions page.

Limited Use

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
